ANSLEY GLENN TO SERVE ON HENRY COUNTY CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Henry County Convention & Visitors Bureau (HCCVB) is a non-profit, non-membership destination marketing organization that promotes Henry County, Georgia.

Southern Belle Farm is proud to have one of their own serving on the 2010 Board of Directors.  Ansley Glenn, who handles marketing for the agri-tourism farm in McDonough was inducted to the HCCVB Board last month.  Glenn was brought aboard to bring insight on marketing and on local attractions for Henry County.  She will also serve on several sub-committees which she will spend additional time.  Glenn is a lifetime resident of Henry County, and has over 12 years marketing and public relations experience making her a great contribution to the CVB.

The collaborative effort of the entire board along with Laura Luker, Henry County Director of Tourism and Communications, has kicked the 2010 year off working on several community-wide events, a new Visitors Guide, unveiling a new Henry County Chamber website www.HenryCounty.com as well as working on targeting Group Tours to the area.  “The year ahead poses great challenges for the HCCVB”, according to Glenn, “and I look forward to contributing to the group of knowledgeable professionals and serving alongside them.”
