This year is a little special — it marks our 75th Anniversary!
Our former dairy farm now operates as an agri-tourism, beef cattle, hay and fresh produce farm on the outskirts of McDonough, GA. Our family shares the farm by opening it up to the public for pick your own crops, educational tours for school groups and the popular outdoor attractions during the fall season.
The ever-popular fall season, OPENS September 21, including a seven acre cornfield maze. From the air, this year’s corn maze commemorates this special milestone — our 75th Anniversary!
After all these years our family’s passion for agriculture still remains the same, even though the farming operation has changed to adapt to the changing community, our love for the farm still exists. “We have spent some time looking back through old family pictures and reflecting on how farming has evolved since the 1930’s, when my grandfather bought what is now part of Southern Belle Farm and began a dairy operation, we have certainly seen this transition.” explains Jimmy Carter (pictured below as a boy).
